Besides sectional sofas with two forms of couches joined together with (or without) a corner piece, some sectionals have one long side and one short side. When there is a short side, it is often a recliner. This type of configuration works great if your room is a bit on the small side. But a recliner is not your only option, some sectional sofas have a chaise lounge along one side.
Most couches are placed in the living room, and there is a lot of electronic disturbance all over. You have the TV, cell phones, tablet, laptop, etc. For most people, sleeping on the couch is an extension of chatting on the phone, watching TV, or working on the laptop. Health-wise, it is hellish for the individual.
Other fabrics that may be used for sofas are cotton, wool, jute, and linen. These, however, are all high maintenance as they stain easily and are not capable of handling excess wear and tear. In most cases, it is best to consult with the dealer you are purchasing the sofa or the fabric from to help you decide what fabric is suitable for you. Also remember to get instructions on how to clean the fabric that you have chosen, and methods to protect it, so that it lasts as long as possible.
