➝ The comfort of the chair keeps those who must sit for long hours (such as those who are paralyzed) comfortable. They may look like regular recliner chairs, but their amazing riser feature is what adds to their value and makes them beneficial to everyone who uses them.
Sofas are constructed from hardwood frame, held together with dowels, glue and screws. Traditionally, seat springs are hand-tied to a webbing base but, some sofas will have coiled springs attached to metal strips stretching from front to back of the frame. In a sprung-back design, S-shaped springs or serpentine springs are used. Back and arms if sprung add to the shape of the sofa. It has been an ongoing myth that the heavier the sofa, the chances of durability can continue over the ages.
Finally, consider my cowboy question above (wink-wink). Cowboys like leather. I don't care where in the country you live, you probably have a little cowboy inside you somewhere. Look at all the fancy businessmen walking down the streets of our big cities with their stylin' cowboy boots on. I guess I just think having a little cowboy inside is part of what it means to be American. And doesn't every American cowboy want a leather sofa? Of course they do!Evolution of the sofas over decades
